LEAD CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST
After studying psychology in Toronto, Canada, Mia completed post graduate study and further training to qualify as a forensic and clinical psychologist with the HCPC (Health Care Professionals Council) and as a cognitive and rational emotive behaviour therapist (REBT) with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP). She has worked as a psychologist in the Prison Service, the NHS and in private practise for over 20 years. She has additionally trained as a breath-worker and psychedelic practitioner and has a developing practise in somatic psychotherapy. Her personal practise is based on the Buddhist psychological model, mindfulness and meditation.
